Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of MyBrief, a service operated by Cutting Edge Analytics LLC (“we”, “us”). By signing up or using the service, you agree to these terms.

The service

MyBrief generates a daily briefing from sources you choose. We use third-party AI to summarize content and third-party APIs to fetch it. Summaries are best-effort — we do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. Always follow the citation back to the original before acting on anything.

Your account

• You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must be 16 or older to use the service.
• One account per person. Don’t share accounts.
• You’re responsible for the sources you add. Don’t add sources that violate their own terms (paywalled content, private feeds, etc.).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or redistribute the service or its output at scale.
• Use the service to harass, defame, or harm others.
• Attempt to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service.
• Bypass tier limits or abuse the regenerate button to run up costs.

Pricing & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We generally do not issue refunds for partial months, but we’ll make it right if something is genuinely our fault — email us.

Tier changes

We may adjust tier prices or features with at least 30 days’ notice. If you don’t accept a change, cancel before the new terms take effect.

Content ownership

Source material (articles, videos, tweets, webpages) belongs to its original publisher. MyBrief’s summaries are transformative short-form excerpts served with citations to the original. If you own content MyBrief summarizes and want it removed, email us and we will block it.

You own the briefing content generated for your account. You may share it for your personal use. Don’t resell the generated output as your own product.

AI-generated content disclaimer

Summaries are generated by large language models that occasionally make mistakes or miss context. Do not rely on MyBrief for legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions. Always verify against the original source.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or cause us legal risk.

Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service is provided “as is” without warranty. We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, USA. Any disputes will be heard in courts located in Douglas County, Nebraska.
